The WGC aims to advance gifted education and provide support to different countries all over the world. It seeks to trigger a worldwide effort to help individuals enhance excellence. Through the offering of awards, for example, the WGC seeks to promote and disseminate the culture of excellence globally. Generally, the long-term objective of the WGC is to establish an interactive platform to serve the international community in nurturing gifts and talents and to disseminate the culture of best practice.
In line with the continuous efforts and commitments of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation towards the enhancement of quality gifted education around the world, the WGC has introduced the Applied Research Global Award of Talented Education. The launch of this award represents one of the unique initiatives of Hamdan Foundation to support global research in gifted education, talent development and related areas. It is offered to international scientists who have published outstanding and innovative research. The award honors scientists whose work has contributed to shape the research field. The submission should be research published in a journal with appropriate standards within the last two years as of the application's point of submission.
The launch of the School Global Award Initiative of Talented Education by Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences represented by the World Giftedness Center is one of its unique initiatives to support best practices and outstanding efforts in gifted education, talent development, and related areas. The main goal of the award is to stimulate global efforts to advance gifted education in schools and provide dynamic support for the community of gifted and talented learners. The award is mainly intended for outstanding school's project or program. Public and private schools from K 1 to pre-university that have made eminent contributions serving the community of gifted and talented students may apply for this award.
