Online courses are an essential part of the Wgc's breadth of educational offerings. it introduces parents, teachers, young researchers, educators, and other educational stakeholders to further gifted education and talent development topics via sound research and best practice examples.
Global Talent Mentoring™ is a new, exciting online platform launching in late 2020. The online platform provides exceptionally talented and motivated youth with the opportunity to cultivate their talents in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical sciences).
Through one-on-one and group mentoring, internationally leading experts in STEMM will guide students on an individualized learning path to excellence. A distinctive feature of Global Talent Mentoring™ is that it will be based and developed on sound, scientific research practice.
The World Giftedness Center (WGC) is one of the unique initiatives of Hamdan Bin Rashed Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences Performance. The WGC aims to advance gifted education and provide support to different countries all over the world. It seeks to trigger a worldwide effort to help individuals enhance excellence. Through the offering of awards, for example, the WGC seeks to promote and disseminate the culture of excellence globally. Generally, the long-term objective of the WGC is to establish an interactive platform to serve the international community in nurturing gifts and talents.
Conferences in the fields of giftedness, talent development, and excellence facilitate knowledge exchange, as well as regional and international networking. We need theoretical research to disclose the myths of giftedness, talent development, and excellence. We also need to know how theory is applied into practice and how best practices in giftedness look like and work.
